What sets your workshop apart from others?
We have always worked in the heart of Tuscany’s leather-making tradition, where artisanal craftsmanship meets innovation. For us, being a partner means turning an idea into reality, working closely with the brand throughout every stage of the process, with expertise and passion.
How much time and care does it take to create a MADBAG?
Each design requires between 3 and 5 hours of hands-on craftsmanship. Preparing the individual components, stitching, and finishing are the most delicate stages—processes that require experience, precision, and time to ensure the highest quality result.
What journey does the leather take before becoming a bag?
It all begins with the careful selection of the leather. This is followed by cutting, preparing the individual components, assembly, stitching, fitting the hardware, and the final finishing touches. Every stage is carried out with precision by skilled hands.
How many hands contribute to the creation of a bag?
On average, up to five people work on each individual bag, each bringing their own specific expertise. The final result is born from the collaboration of different skilled professionals.
Two Visions, One Identity
Two young Romans, both born in 1989, grew up in a city where beauty, art, and character are part of everyday life.
Born and raised in Rome, Eleonora Gaspodini and Alessio Ceniccola are the founders of MADBAG.
Eleonora, Founder and Creative Director, brings over fifteen years of experience in the film industry to the brand, along with a creative sensibility shaped by fashion, set design, and costume, transforming visual storytelling into design.
Alessio, Entrepreneur & Co-Founder, leads the brand’s growth, overseeing advertising campaign strategy and helping shape the direction and development of MADBAG.
Together, they define the identity of MADBAG, bringing together creativity, vision, and the excellence of Made in Italy.
Sustainability & Social Commitment
Leather scraps and unused materials are donated to schools and academies, where they can find new life through creativity and education. Our packaging is also made from recyclable materials, reflecting the same thoughtful and responsible approach.
